No. 02What you can make

A digital wedding invitation you save as an image

You type your names, date and venue, and the maker lays them out as a finished card. You download it as a PNG, so the same file works as an e-invite to text, email or post, and as a print file for home or a print shop. It runs in your browser, with no account and no watermark.

Four sizes are on offer: Post 4:5 (1080 × 1350 px), Square 1:1 (1080 × 1080 px), Story 9:16 (1080 × 1920 px) and 5×7 print size (1500 × 2100 px, which is 5×7 inches at 300 pixels per inch). Changing the size re-arranges the card instead of stretching it.

Prefer something that moves? The Make this a video link under the preview opens the wedding invitation video maker with your wording and style. For Instagram there is also Download a 3-slide carousel: a cover, a details slide and an RSVP slide, saved as three 1080 × 1350 px PNGs.

No. 04Designs and wording

Layouts, styles and wording to start from

Classic offers eight layouts: Classic, Script, Botanical, Monogram, Modern, and three with a photo frame called Arch photo, Oval photo and Photo on top. Each has six color schemes. Seven styles add more: Garden Watercolor, Modern Minimal, Art Deco Gold, Hand-Drawn, Editorial, Dark Botanical and Coastal. Every style brings four or five layouts designed for invitations, in three colorways. Hand-Drawn even has a layout for two photos.

Each wording idea changes the host, request, reception and reply lines together. Traditional uses the phrase request the pleasure of your company; Relaxed opens with We’re getting married! Every line stays editable.

To match your wedding colors, paste a palette from the wedding color palette generator into the Use a palette field. That field belongs to the Classic layouts. A style brings its own colorways instead.

For a walk through the whole job, from first draft to sent card, read our guide to making an invitation online, or the one on designing your own.

No. 05Photo, QR code and RSVP

Adding a photo and a way to reply

A photo can be a JPEG, PNG or WebP of up to 20 MB. It is resized in your browser and never uploaded; only your wording and choices are remembered on this device. iPhone HEIC files are refused, so share the photo as a JPEG first.

The RSVP field takes a sentence or a link. With a link, the card shows a code that opens exactly that address, with the site name beneath. Untick Show a QR code for this link and the address prints as a line of text instead. To collect replies, make a page with online wedding RSVP: the host needs a free account and guests do not. For other links, such as your wedding website, use the wedding QR code generator.

No. 06Sharing and printing

Sending it by text, WhatsApp or email, or printing it

After you download a card, a Share panel appears under the button. It shows which saved size suits where: the 4:5 post PNG for text messages, WhatsApp chats and email, the 9:16 story size for WhatsApp Status and Instagram Stories, the 1:1 square for feed posts, and the 5×7 print size for printing. It also gives you a short message with your names, date and place to copy, and a link called Add an RSVP link or QR code that opens the online RSVP tool.

The page sends nothing: you share the saved file from your own device. There is no PDF export and no printed-card ordering, so for paper you print the 5×7 file yourself or take it to a print shop.

No. 08Tips

Making a wedding invitation that reads well

  1. No. 01

    Keep each line short

Long names and venues are shrunk to fit. If a line still does not fit, it is highlighted. Put the street address on the second line of the venue.

  2. No. 02

Choose a photo that crops well

Arch and oval windows trim the corners, so keep faces near the middle. Photos are cropped, never stretched.

  3. No. 03

    Scan before you send

If the card has a code, scan the downloaded file with a phone before it goes to guests or a printer.

No. 10Questions

Good questions

About the wedding invitation maker.

Is the wedding invitation maker free?

Yes. It is free, adds no watermark and needs no account or sign-up.

Is this an online maker, or do I need an app?

It works in the browser on a phone or a computer, so there is nothing to install. Your wording and choices are remembered on the same device and browser.

Are there templates to choose from?

Yes: eight Classic layouts, each in six color schemes, plus seven styles with four or five layouts apiece in three colorways.

Can I add a photo, and is it uploaded?

Yes, in any layout with a photo frame. The photo is resized in your browser and never leaves your device.

Can I add a QR code for RSVPs?

Yes. Paste a link that starts with https:// into the RSVP field and leave Show a QR code for this link on. Only http and https links are accepted.

Can I send it on WhatsApp or by text?

Yes. Download the Post 4:5 PNG and attach it to a chat, text or email, or use the Story size for WhatsApp Status. The Share panel says which size fits where.

Can I print it?

Yes. The 5×7 print size is 1500 × 2100 px, which is 5×7 inches at 300 pixels per inch. It is a PNG: there is no PDF and no printing or delivery service.

Is this an AI wedding invitation generator?

No. It is a template maker that does not use AI. The layouts and wording ideas are written in advance and you type your own details.

Is this also a marriage invitation maker?

Yes. Change the host and request lines to suit a marriage card. The fonts cover Latin letters only, so text in other scripts will not show correctly, and there are no region-specific designs.
