Every save the date design in one place
The gallery shows the Classic layouts of the card maker and every layout of its seven style packs, including magazine-cover and newspaper-front-page looks. Each picture is a real export with sample names. The designs built around a photo show one of our fictional, AI-generated couples; the others are text only.
Filter by style, color family or photo. "Use this design" opens the save the date maker with that layout and color chosen, so you only replace the sample names and date. The download is a PNG sized for a post, a square, a story or a 5 by 7 print.

From a template to a card you can send

Choose a look
Use the Style, Color and Photo filters. A design with a photo needs one picture of the two of you; a text-only design needs none.

Press "Use this design" under a picture. The maker opens with that design chosen and the sample names in place.

Replace the names, the date and the line about the invitation to follow, pick a size, and download the PNG.

About the save the date templates.
Are these save the date templates free?
Yes. Every design is free to open and download, with no watermark, and you do not need an account. Photos and text stay on your device.
Can I edit the template?
Yes. A design opens in the maker with sample names, and you replace every line. You can still change the style, color and size after you open it.
Can I put my photo on a save the date?
Yes, on the photo designs. The gallery pictures use fictional couples. Your photo is cropped on your device and is never uploaded.
Which size should I download?
The post and square sizes suit a feed, the story size suits a story, and the 5 by 7 print size suits a printed card. The maker shows each size before you download.
Can I print these cards?
You can print the PNG at home or at a print shop. The tool does not make a PDF with bleed and does not print or mail cards.
Can I send a save the date by text or WhatsApp?
The download is an image, so you can attach it to a text, an email or a chat. The maker also has a share panel with sizing notes and a short message to send with it.
Is this also for a marriage save the date?
Yes. The same designs work for a marriage announcement card as well as a wedding one.
